Today Safer Central published the Community Safety Partnership Strategy 2021-2024.   This strategy has identified two priorities and one emerging issue which Safer Central will focus their efforts on for the next three years.

The two priorities are:

Priority One - Identifying and disrupting County Lines/drug dealing and cuckooing

Priority Two – Raising awareness of domestic abuse

The emerging issue is:

Cybercrime

Safer Central will focus on tackling these issues through early identification and intervention, supporting some of the most vulnerable residents in Central Bedfordshire whilst creating stronger, safer and more resilient communities.  The work of Safer Central is influenced by the Safer Central Community Survey and residents can continue to give online feedback on crime, anti-social behaviour and other community safety issues in their local area.
